Education Advisor
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to the project on evidence-based curricular and instructional approaches and strategies to improve learning outcomes, including reading, math, and social and emotional support
- Oversee the collection and use of performance data that measures the effectiveness of the education system in improving early grade learning
- Liaise with subcontractors and staff to ensure the timely production of program-supported teaching and learning materials, early grade learning products and other supplemental materials
- Interface with government stakeholders at various levels to interpret collected data and to troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with other technical leads to achieve project outcomes
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in education required; focus on education policy and/or management preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in early grade education; data-driven programmatic experience to improve early grade learning is required
- Previous experience working effectively with government counterparts, local organizations, and the private sector
- Record of building the capacity of government and private counterparts
- Proven knowledge of Nepal’s education system is strongly preferred
