About this program
Nonprofits are being asked to do more with less—again. With federal funding cuts, rising costs, and increasingly competitive grants, organizations feel stretched thin and overlooked. This moment also calls for bold, community-rooted strategies that shift power, spark action, and grow support in real, sustainable ways. There are tools that work.
Join Floyd Jones—founder of BackBlack and national leader in community-centered fundraising—for a high-energy, practical session on how to grow your impact through peer-to-peer and digital-first fundraising. Whether you have a team of ten or you're doing it solo, you’ll learn how to mobilize your supporters, activate your board, and turn everyday followers into powerful fundraisers. You’ll also learn how to join Black Philanthropy Month this August and access the official BackBlack Fundraising Toolkit—including opportunities for unrestricted funding and national exposure for your mission.
